Donald Trump. Narcissistic Personality Disorder explained

Christine Hammond, Mental Health Counsellor, LifeWorks Group, explains Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She is not referring directly to Trump, but I am. You draw your own conclusions from how she describes the disorder.

Actually, Trump deserves a dual diagnosis: Narcissistic AND Paranoid Personality Disorder. Not only is he pathologically self-absorbed, but has delusions of persecution and becomes disproportionately vengeful at the slightest criticism.

OK, but what IS NPD? Is it genetic? IS it an unacknowledged autism spectrum disorder? What happened to these people?

These people ARE the most adorable creations of God, if you ever truly fall in love with one, you can see that Truth for yourself.
    But they aren't adorable.
    But they are.

It is such a baffling condition that puts in to question what it means to be human, to love.

Lady, if you were given, what I will call, a "relatively" small loan of what is worth $10 million today when you were between the age of 20 and 30 and you invested it such that your net worth would be about $4 billion by the time you were 70 years old (400 times worth more than what you started with), you would be a narcissist too.

Yes, he is a narcissist and rightfully so. He comes from a long line of winners who did not make excuses for themselves.
Donald Trump's father, Fred Trump, started working at the age of 10 as a delivery boy on a bicycle for a butcher and then became a carpenter at the age of 15 long before there were child labor laws. He did not go to any fancy school nor sit home and play video games as a kid.

Donald Trump's grandmother, Elisabeth Christ Trump, successfully managed all of the assets that they inherited from Frederick Trump, Donald Trump's grandfather, which was worth about $450K in today's money, when Frederick Trump died before Fred Trump came of age. That was start up capital for Fred Trump and the Trump legacy in general.

Donald Trump inherited his knack for growth and success and expanded on what his grandfather, Frederick Trump, who immigrated to the USA from Germany in the 1800s, acquired in this country from hard work, starting as a barber onto the purchase of hotels and restaurants. He did not squander it or become just another rich kid partying and making nothing of himself.

The Trumps are a legend and he is a remnant of the Trump legacy. His children are all intelligent and successful too.

Now lady, sit your mediocre ass down and quit complaining with your psycho babble. Instead, go start your legacy and maybe generations from now, someone will call your son or daughter, grandchild, or great grandchild a narcissist because you paved the way for them to grow and they took advantage of it.

    Classic signs of NPD:

An all-pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration or adulation and lack of empathy, usually beginning by early adulthood and present in various contexts. Five (or more) of the following criteria must be met:

Feels grandiose and self-important (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents to the point of lying, demands to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

Is obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, fearsome power or omnipotence, unequalled brilliance (the cerebral narcissist), bodily beauty or sexual performance (the somatic narcissist), or ideal, everlasting, all-conquering love or passion

Firmly convinced that he or she is unique and, being special, can only be understood by, should only be treated by, or associate with, other special or unique, or high-status people (or institutions)

Requires excessive admiration, adulation, attention and affirmation – or, failing that, wishes to be feared and to be notorious (narcissistic supply)

Feels entitled. Expects unreasonable or special and favorable priority treatment. Demands automatic and full compliance with his or her expectations

Is "interpersonally exploitative", i.e., uses others to achieve his or her own ends

Devoid of empathy. Is unable or unwilling to identify with or acknowledge the feelings and needs of others

Constantly envious of others or believes that they feel the same about him or her

Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes coupled with rage when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted

    yep, looks like…

He said that America hasn't won anything for a many years. He said that we should BEAT other countries. That is not healthy. Healthy people do not need to beat others or win!!!!! A mature minded president would not need to be number one in terms of making their country number one. Why can't countries want to be equal? That would be healthy!!!!

Every word and action of President Trump is just like my Nartissic spouse. Gaslighting, name calling, tweeting, bad attitude and his charismatic personality draws people to him, because of their money and fame. Nartissic don't do well for long. They go down as quickly as they came up. My spouse started a lot of businesses and put in a lot of money and work and in a decade every last one failed, even our marriage.

For those who say that Trump's words are taken out of context…..I would agree, and in fact have agreed at one point in the beginning, however, there isn't a day without a new statement from him the confirms what more and more experts are now saying. Go back a few years and look at the phenomenon in Germany, and how a large section of the German population fell for the charismatic Adolf Hitler. In their eyes he could do no wrong. he was exactly what they felt they needed. And even when things got at its worse, there were those who still stood by this Psychopath. I am afraid that in that sense, history is repeating itself. I think by now, it is well established that Trump suffers from one or two mental disorders, such as narcissism, and/or Sociopathic/psychopathic disorders. That is dangerous. And I dare to say that this has been proven to be dangerous in the past causing unnecessary wars. In my opinion, that is because a great percentage of people in power have that in common to a degree. I strongly believe that Hillary Clinton is among them as well.

W shouldn't try to diagnose mental illness as outsiders. We all can however evaluate and score DT's word use abnormalities and breeches of basic logic as outlined in S. Grau's book "Ambivalence Based Psychotherapy: Helpful hints for faster competance in psychotherapy". Using the language scoring metric from Grau's book, DT seems to score in the mild to moderate impairment range.

People that DO NOT KNOW the President of the United States take LIBERTIES to say very STUPID THINGS about President Donald Trump. And NONE of these uninformed DUMMIES know what they are talking about!!!! Does anybody remember "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE? Does anybody remember Arsinio Hall? Donald Trump made that man the "WINNER" of the "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE". Was that "WIN" for Arsinio Hall based on Donald Trump's racism? STUPID PEOPLE, Donald Trump is NOT a racist. He wants the very best people (the smartest) to be allowed into AMERICA. President Trump wants to make YOUR LIFE BETTER and has been working as President to reduce YOUR TAXES, and make it EASIER for companies to create new jobs for ALL AMERICANS!!!! Of course, the IDIOTS could have elected an AMERICAN traitor, liar, money grubbing thief, and someone that will (hopefully) eventually be convicted of many FELONY COUNTS of LYING to the AMERICAN PEOPLE and the WORLD.
