Aaron Carter has revealed he has been officially diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, manic depression and acute anxiety.

In the yet to air interview, Aaron listed the cocktail of drugs he’s been prescribed including Xanax, omeprazole, hydroxyzine and more.

He is then seen holding up a bag of his medication to audience members, claiming: ‘This is my reality. Hi, I have nothing to hide.’

Speaking of his drug use shortly after, he noted: ‘I haven’t taken any opiods,’ before quickly backtracking: ‘Oh no, no, no, I did! It’s because I got my teeth done. I got six crowns!’

The interview, which will air on Thursday and Friday night, comes after Aaron was seen purchasing two new Smith & Wesson assault rifles last week at Rick’s Pawn Shop in Lancaster, CA.

Two weeks prior, the I Want Candy singer procured his gun license and immediately purchased a 9mm handgun and two other assault rifles, according to TMZ.

Aaron’s taste for firepower started after he reportedly inherited ‘500 guns’ from his US Marine veteran father Bob who died, age 65, in 2017.

Carter recently revealed he considered owning assault rifles a ‘necessity’ because his ‘dad taught him to protect himself and his family by any means necessary.’

Speaking to TMZ, he said: ‘On a scale of one to 10, what’s my mental stability? 100,000. Infinite! Because throughout my 20s I went through bankruptcy, I went through being broke four times, I went through losing my sister, I went through so many different mental … and now [I’m on the other side of that].’

Amongst his rifle purchases, Aaron failed to show up in court last week for a hearing to make his temporary restraining order against ex-girlfriend Lina Valentina permanent, so it was dismissed.

The Fools Gold hitmaker claimed his ex-partner violently attacked him during a confrontation in the early hours of July 31, and also alleged she carried a knife and threatened him to stab him. She denied all allegations.

However Lina and her attorney Michael Malak, who attended the hearing, slammed claims artist Lina carries a knife and denied she ever threatened Aaron.

They also claimed the reason Aaron didn’t show up for the hearing is because his abuse allegations are false with Lina’s attorney reportedly saying she is hopeful Aaron will ‘get the help he needs.’

Furthermore, police were called to Aaron’s home on August 8 after family members believed his mental health was suffering, but after officers completed a wellness check, sources confirmed the call was a ‘false alarm.’

An insider said at the time: ‘He is not suicidal. He was basically swatted – this was a false alarm. He has been working a lot and busy.’

Concern for Carter’s mental health continued as he bizarrely tweeted out his iPhone number on Friday to his 1.5M social media following.
